Field Day Brewing Co., the first and only brewery and full-service restaurant in North Liberty, IA, is hiring experienced Cooks to join our team.
In addition to our craft beer lineup, we offer a full-service food menu thoughtfully prepared in-house by the talented kitchen team you’ll be a part of.
In the line cook role, you’ll help prepare and execute menu items with consistency, quality, and attention to detail. You’ll work alongside the kitchen team to maintain an organized line, clean work environment, and efficient service flow. Compensation ranges from $15-$22/hour based on experience.
Schedule: Part-time (20–30 hours per week). Primarily evenings and weekends, especially Sundays. Flexible scheduling available to fit your availability.

Accountabilities
- Prepare and execute high quality food with consistency and attention to detail
- Support plating and cooking execution that aligns with company standards
- Maintain a strong willingness to learn and improve kitchen skills
- Work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment

- Represent the brand with professionalism and pride
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock food items, prep stations, and kitchen supplies
- Prepare ingredients including chopping, cutting, mixing, and sauce preparation
- Cook menu items using grilling, sautéing, frying, and other cooking techniques according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and prep areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper storage procedures
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and workstations at the end of shifts
- Assist with inventory counts and food storage tracking
- Communicate clearly and effectively with Chefs and kitchen leadership
- Support overall kitchen operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum 1 year of line cook experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a high volume kitchen environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during busy shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
