Field Day Brewing Co., the first and only brewery in North Liberty, IA, is hiring experienced part-time Line Cooks to join our team.

In this role, you’ll prepare and execute menu items with consistency and attention to detail. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to keep the line organized, maintain a clean workspace, and help ensure smooth, efficient service. What is Field Day Brewing Co.? Field Day Brewing Co. is the first and only brewery in North Liberty, IA, excited to reframe & disrupt the traditional view on breweries by bringing exciting opportunities paired with world-class beer. We brew everything from Hazy IPAs, big and bold stouts, and overly-fruited sours. While we don’t like pigeon-holing ourselves into one specific category, our custom brewhouse and cereal cooker allows us to specialize in German and Czech lagers—the light & crispy stuff that is super sessionable.

In addition to our amazingly brewed beverages, we offer a full-service menu carefully constructed and prepared on-site by our amazing cooks.

Pay: $15- $22/ hour based on experience

Schedule: Part-time (20–30 hours per week). Primarily evenings and weekends, especially Sundays. Flexible scheduling available to fit your availability.

Job Responsibilities

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
• Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time
• 1+ years of line cook experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
