Cook

Field Day Brewing Co. is looking for a dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team in North Liberty.

If you enjoy working with a solid team, staying busy during service, and taking pride in putting out consistently great food, this could be a good fit. Our kitchen supports a full-service restaurant and brewery with a chef-driven menu, rotating craft beer lineup, and a strong focus on quality and hospitality.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $16–$22 per hour, based on experience

Hours: Approximately 20–30 hours per week

This position requires evening, weekend, and Sunday availability.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently during service
  • Set up, stock, and maintain your station throughout each shift
  • Follow recipes, portion standards, and plating expectations
  • Complete prep work and help keep ingredients properly labeled, stored, and rotated
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Communicate with kitchen leaders and teammates to keep service running smoothly
  • Support kitchen operations and complete additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous restaurant kitchen or line cook experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
  • Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
  • Able to communicate well and work as part of a team
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, Sundays, and holidays as scheduled
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
